While giving Beth the tour of our neighborhood, the fountains in the plaza come on. It's quite a show, even without the colored lights used at night. We ooh and aah, just like at a fireworks display.

Breakfast at Restaurante Acella.
Dinner at Nacho Tomasa, before the throngs of young adults arrive and while the music is quieter and more mellow.
September 28
Circulars and advertisement flyers are delivered to building lobbies daily. We've taken to actually looking at them to see what kind of businesses promote themselves this way and what products are available, such as Fairy laundry detergent and Ariel dishwashing liquid at Carrefour, the local version of Target. Here is a flyer for Shangrila Chinese Restaurant (free delivery!), just like at home.

ReplyDeleteI have to laugh about Shangrila, just like in Colorado Springs. The same thing happened to me when I traveled all the way from California to Germany, only to find the Thai restaurant next to my hotel was called Krua Thai, just the one Yas and I love at home!
