We've discovered that just about every town along the way considers itself
significant to the Camino and has a statue or monument to pilgrims. Many
businesses and towns use the pilgrim as part of their logo or to advertise
themselves.
This last guy is not particularly well-liked among peregrinos. Most consider him Mickey Mouse-ish and find that a rather distasteful depiction of the Camino experience.
